A new house in Pringle Bay, positioned on the mountainside, overlooking the bay

The brief called for a simple, elegant structure that takes advantage of the views to the bay in front and the mountain behind. The realisation of this is a house that opens onto two quite different stoep and courtyard spaces, both of which are protected from the south-easterly and north-westerly winds. The materials used speak to the site and reflect the client’s relaxed lifestyle.
