Alterations and additions to an existing row house, taking advantage of mountain and sea views.

The brief called for the addition of a third story as well as a private roof terrace above an existing two storey house. The additional story is unified with the existing structure through the use of vertical cladding on the outside of the house. Inside, the lounge, kitchen, and dining room spaces are located on the new open-plan third floor. The staircase is extended to the roof terrace, which is protected from the south-easterly wind, neighbours, and busy main road.
