Concept proposal for a new technology campus

Ampersand were commissioned to develop a proposal to extend a previous project to form a new technology campus in an under-developed region of the Cape Town Metro. The project entailed the addition of 3 new mixed-use buildings and related infrastructure across several adjoining sites to bring the total construction area to over 50 000 sqm. Floor plate depths were limited to maximise daylighting and spatial variety was enhanced through the introduction of semi-courtyard spaces, public plazas, extensive landscaping and concealed parking.
