Upper Union

The renovation of a family home, opening up the living spaces and connection to the garden.

This project involved the complete renovation of an existing ‘arts & crafts’ house, built in 1929. The internal arrangement of the house was altered to bring north light into the living spaces and open the house up toward the garden.

A new verandah was built off the lounge, leading to another raised verandah, with mountain views. Storerooms and water tank storage were accommodated below these spaces.
